We’re always looking for ways to make our various healthcare services even better for our patients.

We passionately believe our patients are the best people to help us do this, which is why we’d love you to get involved and join our patient participation group.

PPGs are a great way to make a difference to healthcare in your local community. They help us in a number of ways, from ensuring that our patient information is easy to understand, to generating new ideas about how we can deliver more, and even better services.

This is a virtual group and all communication is conducted by email. Members' views and opinions are gathered via short surveys.

Patient Choice – what choice do you have when it comes to the referral of your NHS treatment?

It isn’t a widely known fact, but if you or a loved one needs to be referred to an NHS specialist, you can choose to access any hospital or treatment centre in England. As long as the facility provides services to the NHS and offers the treatment you require, choosing where to have your NHS treatment gives you greater control of your care and hopefully better outcomes.
